QPCS is hiring an experienced Correctional LPN for SCI Laurel Highlands in Somerset, Pennsylvania.

Position Details

Location: SCI Laurel Highlands, 5706 Glades Pike, Somerset, PA 15501
Level: Expert
Schedule: Eight-hour float shifts

The LPN may work up to two different shifts during each two-week period, receives every other weekend off, and must be available for major holidays.

Pay Options

Tier 1 – Benefits-Eligible W-2: $37.00 per hour

Tier 2 – Non-Benefits-Eligible W-2: $41.00 per hour

1099 Independent Contractor: $44.00 per hour

Important 1099 Notice: Independent contractors are self-employed and are not eligible for employee benefits, paid time off, unemployment insurance, workers’ compensation coverage, or employer-paid payroll taxes. Independent contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and other applicable obligations.

Role and Requirements

Provide medications, treatments, patient monitoring, urgent-care support, and electronic documentation while maintaining nursing and correctional-security standards.

Candidates must have:

An active Pennsylvania LPN license.

At least one year of psychiatric/behavioral-health or correctional nursing experience.

Strong clinical judgment and the flexibility to work assigned shifts, weekends, and holidays while completing required screening, credentialing, and security training.
