* Management of step-down level patients

JOB REQUIREMENTS

* Board: NCCPA Board Certified

* Licenses: Active Vermont License (or eligibility to obtain)

* DEA: Active DEA Certification

* Certifications: BLS, ACLS

* Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of hospitalist inpatient adult medicine experience

* Other Qualifications: Clean malpractice history; NPDB report required within 30 days of offer

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Respond to codes and rapid responses

* Manage adult inpatient and observation patients

* Provide care for step-down level patients

* Coordinate with multidisciplinary team (ED, surgery, case management) for patient care and discharge

* Stabilize critically ill patients and arrange transfer to tertiary care as needed
