Join our dynamic team in Fargo, ND as we seek an experienced Surgical Technologist to make a real impact in the operating room. This travel/contract position offers a competitive compensation of $2366.00, and the opportunity to work in a large, fast-paced environment with 25 OR suites handling a staggering average of 75 to 100 cases daily. To qualify for this critical role, you must have a minimum of 2 years of experience, including proficiency in working with surgical systems from Zimmer, Depuy, Biomet, or Striker. A current BLS certification (AHA) is necessary, and you must be registered as a UAP with the North Dakota Board of Nursing prior to starting. The schedule is structured with 8 to 10 hour shifts, along with on-call responsibilities every few weekends, providing you with ample opportunity to contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional surgical care. 2+ years experience

BLS (AHA)
Experience working in a large hospital, level 1 trauma experience
Candidate must have experience working in a busy acute care facility with more than 15 OR Suites (they have 25)
Experience with robotics

Perform surgical and operating room duties as assigned according to established policies and procedures to assist the surgeon and other health care team members in providing effective surgical care. Orthopedics, ENT, plastics, general, some trauma
Equipment utilized in the unit/dept.
Primary procedures completed are orthopedics, plastic surgery and ENT (pediatric and adult). Systems used: Zimmer, Depuy, Biomet, and Striker total replacements. Experience in at least one of these systems is required.

BLS - AHA. Must be on the North Dakota Board of Nursing Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) Registry at least one week prior to start.
Shift or schedule requirements.
8, possibly 10 hour days with call 1 to 2 days a week and every 3 to 4 weekends. Will need to stay late as needed - this time is not Call Back, just an extension of the regular shift.
