REQUIRED PROCEDURES

* Post-operative care for all types of cardiothoracic and vascular patients

* Emergency surgery on cardiothoracic and vascular patients

* Taking consults/referrals from ED, Cath Lab and hospital providers

* Vein harvesting and retrieval of vascular tissues for bypass conduit

* Assist in surgery, write prescriptions, coordinate care, round, interpret/order tests

JOB REQUIREMENTS

* Board: BC in Vascular Surgery

* Licenses: Active OH license or compact license

* DEA: Active DEA

* Certifications: ACLS

* Experience: Minimum 5 years in Cardiothoracic and Vascular surgery services

* Other Qualifications: Clean background/no malpractice or license issues, EMR proficiency (Epic)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Provide post-operative care for cardiothoracic and vascular surgery patients

* Assist in cardiothoracic and vascular surgeries

* Manage patient rounding and coordination of care

* Interpret diagnostic tests and order appropriate treatments

* Perform vein harvesting and retrieval of vascular tissues
