Speech Language Pathologist

Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Speech Language Pathologist to join our dedicated team in the beautiful city of Utica, known for its rich history and vibrant community. This travel/contract position offers an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of patients while enjoying a competitive compensation package of approximately $2846 weekly. As part of our allied health workforce, you will play a crucial role in assessing and treating patients, using your expert knowledge and skills to help guide them towards their goals.

To be successful in this role, you must be a graduate of an accredited college or university recognized by the American Speech and Hearing Association, holding a current New York State license in Speech-Language Pathology. Additionally, you should either hold or be eligible for the Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA. Excellent communication skills are a must, as you’ll be collaborating with patients and medical staff alike. With your previous experience of over a year and proficiency in MS Office and Epic/EMR software, you’ll be well-equipped to deliver top-notch assessments and treatment plans. Requirements

Graduate of a college/university accredited by the American Speech and Hearing Association with a degree in Speech Language Pathology.
Current NYS license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Eligible for or holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association (ASHA).
Excellent communication skills to communicate with patients, medical and house staff.
Excellent assessment skills to make accurate prognosis of patient potential and guide the individual to achieve that potential.
Proficient with MS Office and Epic\EMR software.
Knowledge of the PDPM reimbursement system
