We are seeking a competent Emergency Department Nurse to join our high-performing team. In this role, you will practice independently, providing both routine and complex care while managing the fast-paced contingencies of the clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation) to provide top-tier patient care.

Address complex psychological, emotional, and social needs of patients and their families.

Administer medications and treatments via established protocols and monitor for effectiveness.

Delegate tasks and make appropriate assignments to ensure efficient department flow.

Document patient history and care accurately in the clinical record.

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Experience: 1+ year of experience in the Emergency Department or a related specialty preferred.

License: Current RN License (Texas or Compact state).

Certifications:

BLS: Required at time of hire (AHA or Red Cross).

ACLS & PALS: Required (Grace periods: 30 days for experienced; 90 days for new to specialty).

TNCC: Required (Grace periods: 60 days for experienced; 18 months for new to specialty).
