Respiratory Therapist

REQUIREMENTS:

* Active RT license/certification in practicing state.
* 1+ year of hospital or acute care experience preferred.
* Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
* Knowledge of ventilators and oxygen delivery systems.
* Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills.
* Ability to work in fast-paced, high-acuity environments..

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Treatment & Monitoring:

* Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory disorders.
* Administer oxygen therapy and inhaled medications.

* Ventilator Management:

* Manage and provide mechanical ventilation support.
* Perform airway management, suctioning, and pulmonary hygiene.

* Documentation & Teamwork:

* Monitor patient response; document treatments in the EMR.
* Educate patients on respiratory care and equipment use.
* Collaborate with physicians for care planning.
