📌 Position: Registered Dietitian
📍 Location: New York, NY 10065
⏳ Contract Type: Travel / Contract
💰 Pay Rate: $45.00 – $53.00 per hour

Job Summary:
We are seeking a fully competent, experienced Dietitian who can provide comprehensive nutritional care across all patient care units, including critical care (ICU and PICU). The ideal candidate will assess nutrition needs, develop and implement care plans, educate patients and families, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nutrition care to patients of all ages.

Assess nutritional needs and develop, implement, and re-evaluate nutrition care plans.

Modify diet orders and recommend appropriate enteral formulas or supplements.

Perform initial nutrition screening and determine patient risk classification.

Attend and participate in multidisciplinary rounds for inpatient and outpatient units.

Complete comprehensive nutrition assessments within specified timelines.

Monitor patients’ nutritional status and make necessary dietary adjustments.

Arrange enteral feeding and coordinate with outpatient/home care services as needed.

Refer patients to other services (GI, Speech Therapy, Social Services, etc.) prior to discharge.

Required Skills & Experience:

2–4 years of relevant Dietitian experience.

Strong communication, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Excellent time management, judgment, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Oncology experience is a plus.

Education & Certifications:

Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition & Dietetics.

Preferred: Master’s Degree.

Required Certifications:

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (CDR)

Certified Dietitian Nutritionist (must be obtained within 12 months for NY)
