The Progressive Care Nurse provides care for hemodynamically stable or predictably unstable patients on the Medical/Surgical Unit. Responsibilities include delivering physical, emotional, spiritual, and cultural support while closely monitoring patients who may require advanced assessment and intervention.
Patient populations may include:

Pediatrics
Pre/Post PCI care
Pacemaker patients
CHF, COPD, DKA
Renal failure
DVT/PE
Sepsis
Thoracotomy and other surgical recovery cases
Carotid endarterectomy and revascularization patients

Required Certifications & Licensure:

Current Montana RN License
BLS
ACLS
PALS (required or obtained within 6 months of hire)

Preferred Certifications:

ENPC
TNCC

Preferred Experience:

Pediatric experience
Post-heart catheterization care
