REQUIREMENTS:

* 3+ years of experience
* THIS ASSIGNMENT REQUIRES A HIGHLY SKILLED & EXPERIENCED SURG TECH WITH A WIDE LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE WITH ORTHO, NEURO, VASCULAR, ETC. CANDIDATES THAT LACK A FULL BREADTH OF CURRENT EXPERIENCE WILL NOT RECEIVE CONSIDERATION.
* Candidates with minimal RTO will receive priority consideration.
* Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited surgical technology program.
* BLS required.
* CST preferred but not required.
* Excellent critical thinking and knowledge of central processing and instrumentation required.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Work 40 hours/week in four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts; start and end times are negotiable.
* Approximately every 5th weekend as a call weekend (split between Call 1 and Call 2) and 1-2 calls per week (split between Call 1 and Call 2).
* Call volume may increase based on department need and staffing changes; call requirements mirror current staffing.
* All call requires a 30-minute response time from the time of the call to arriving on site.
* Possible Holiday call rotation may be required if a holiday falls within the ST's contract, based on patient census and staffing.
