Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and mechanical ventilation management

Operate and maintain respiratory care equipment, such as ventilators, nebulizers, and oxygen delivery systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards

Perform diagnostic procedures, including arterial blood gas sampling, pulmonary function tests, and other assessments to evaluate respiratory function

Document patient care accurately in electronic health records, including treatment plans, progress, and outcomes

Educate patients and families on respiratory health, disease management, and proper use of equipment

Respond to emergencies, providing critical respiratory support during acute events or mass casualty situations

Supervise and mentor junior staff or respiratory therapy technicians, particularly in senior or lead CRT roles
