Job Description
Summary:
We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (PET/CT) for a 13-week contract at their Mission Viejo location, with potential float to Mission Laguna Beach. This opportunity is open to first-time travelers and includes consistent weekday scheduling with optional on-call.

Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures including PET/CT scans.

Prepare, calculate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals accurately.

Operate nuclear medicine equipment and ensure image quality.

Comply with safety standards and radiation safety protocols.

Document all procedures and patient interactions in Epic charting system.

Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.

Float between Mission Viejo and Mission Laguna Beach campuses as needed.

Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.

Experience:
Minimum: 1 year of experience in a clinical nuclear medicine setting.

First-time travelers accepted.

License/Certification:
Required: BLS, California Nuclear Medicine License (ARRT-N or NMTCB).

Preferred: CT Advanced Certification

Skills:
Proficiency in nuclear imaging and PET/CT technology.

Ability to work independently and adapt to float assignments.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Comfortable using Epic for documentation.

Minimum: 1 year of experience in a clinical nuclear medicine setting.
Required: BLS, California Nuclear Medicine License (ARRT-N or NMTCB).
