Position: Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse
Location: Madison, WI
Weekly Pay: $2,500 blended

$32.05/hr taxable
$1,346/week non-taxable
$75/hr OT and holiday pay
Day and night shifts available

Description:
The Med Surg/Telemetry RN will provide nursing care to adult patients in an acute-care hospital setting, managing patients who require medical-surgical and cardiac/telemetry monitoring. The RN will assess patients, administer medications and treatments, monitor vital signs and telemetry rhythms, coordinate care with the healthcare team, and document patient care accurately in Epic.

Weekend and holiday rotations may be required based on operational needs. Travelers must also successfully complete a Telemetry test before being cleared to start.

Active Wisconsin RN license or Compact RN license
Minimum 2 years of acute-care nursing experience within the last 3 years
Med Surg/Telemetry experience
Epic experience required
BLS certification – AHA only
Must successfully pass the facility's Telemetry test before start
Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler
Must be available for weekend and holiday rotations as required by the facility
Must be able to work either day or night shift depending on assignment availability

Key screening points: Acute-care experience in the last 3 years, Epic experience, WI/Compact RN license, AHA BLS, telemetry skills, and 50+ mile distance from the facility.
