Respiratory Therapist

Key Job Responsibilities Patient Assessment & Diagnosis: Interview, examine, and perform diagnostic tests (e.g., blood gas analysis, lung capacity measurements) to determine appropriate treatment. Treatment & Care:Administer treatments like aerosol, ventilator, or oxygen therapy and perform chest physiotherapy. Emergency Response: Respond to Code Blues, manage airways, and assist with intubation during respiratory emergencies. Equipment Management: Setup, check, and maintain ventilators, masks, and oxygen machines. Collaboration: Consult with doctors, nurses, and staff to develop, monitor, and adjust patient care plans. Education: Teach patients and family members how to manage conditions (e.g., asthma, COPD) and use home medical equipment. Documentation: Accurately chart patient data and treatment outcomes.
