Adelphi is seeking highly qualified Registered Nurse Supervisor who can oversee nurses delivering 1:1 nursing services to K-12 students with disabilities at a school district in New York.

Requirements:
• BSN from an accredited program.
• Active NY RN License.
• NPI Number
• Experience working with students with disabilities.
• NYS Education Department Fingerprint Clearence Notification.
• CPR certification.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing experience, including experience in a leadership or supervisory role.


Responsibilities:
• Accompany students in the school bus to and from school.
• Coverse with parents/guardians and school personnel as required.
• Confirm all medications and physician orders are with the student before departing the student's premises and/or school.
• Review all doctors orders for students.
• Observe students during the day in the classroom and on the bus ride for any medical situations and emergencies.
• Perform any and all skilled nursing procedures as ordered.
• Document all skilled nursing procedures as well as report any medical situations and emergencies.
