Camp Wildwood
As part of our experienced medical team, you will:
-Support the overall health needs of a vibrant community of 275 campers and staff
-Assist our camp doctor and seasoned returning RNs with the care and daily management of a small number of campers with Type 1 Diabetes
-Provide triage, routine care, medication management, and health education as needed
-Contribute to a positive, supportive, and fun healthcare environment
-Participate in the life of camp—meet people from around the world and enjoy the energy and joy of summer camp!
Meet Our Camp Doctor:
Our medical team is led by an exceptional physician with over 20 years of experience in Pediatrics, specializing in Pediatric Critical Care in an ICU setting. Trained in the UC system and having spent 11+ years at Stanford as Director of the ICU, our doctor brings unmatched expertise, outstanding leadership, and a deep commitment to providing the highest standard of care for our campers and staff.

Qualifications:
-Physician Assistant (PA), Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP)
-CDCES certification preferred
-Experience with Type 1 Diabetes management a plus
-Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a love for working with children
-Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced camp environment
