ER RN

This Emergency Department RN opportunity is based in Palatka, FL at a 99-bed acute care facility serving North Central Florida that includes a 24-hour emergency department and a 10-bed intensive care unit. The role. Reporting within the emergency department nursing team, this RN will assess and monitor patients by recording and reporting symptoms, changes in condition, and vital signs, and will administer medications and modify treatment plans in response to patient responses and physician orders. The nurse will review and interpret diagnostic test results to guide clinical decision-making, and will consult and coordinate with an interdisciplinary care team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans. Additional responsibilities include coordinating admissions and discharge planning, preparing patients for examinations and treatments, and maintaining thorough documentation of patient care services through charting in patient and department records.

What we're looking for. • Associate Degree • 1 year of Acute Care ER experience required • Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation • Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date • PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
