Adelphi is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to provide services at a facility in Orange County, California. The ideal candidate will assist the on-site registered Pharmacist with dispensing prescription medications, inventory management, and ensuring the seamless functioning of pharmacy services within the facility.

Requirements:
• Possession of a valid certificate of registration as a Pharmacy Technician issued by the California State Board of Pharmacy.
• Completion of a Pharmacy Technician Program from an accredited college in accordance with the California State Board of Pharmacy licensing requirements.

Responsibilities:
• Assist the on-site registered Pharmacist with dispensing prescription medications to customers or health professionals as ordered by the prescribers.
• Prepare daily patient medications utilizing the automated packaging machine.
• Accurately fill prescriptions.
• Fill and maintain nursing station automated dispensing cabinets.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory and order cost effective medication utilizing the facility's online system.
• Prepare and submit purchase requisitions.
• Prepare and submit service request forms to the storeroom for supplies and deliveries.
• Maintain and coordinate the delivery and pick-up of medications with an outside courier transporting between facilities.
• Other related duties as assigned.
