Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical/Surgical nursing for a 13-week travel contract in Duluth, Georgia. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute surgical unit.

The nurse will care for patients admitted from the Emergency Department (ED), Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and direct admissions. The unit manages a high volume of daily admissions and discharges, requiring strong assessment, prioritization, and patient management skills.

Active and valid RN license.
Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical nursing experience.
Current AHA BLS certification required.
ACLS certification preferred.
Cerner EMR experience preferred.
Previous travel nursing experience required.
Must be willing to work night shifts.
Must be flexible with scheduling and floating requirements, if needed.
Must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.
Must also be willing to work 1 minor holiday: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.
Must be available to complete compliance requirements before the scheduled start date.
