Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Georgia. This position is where travel nurses will provide direct patient care to Medical/Surgical patients (no teaching responsibilities). The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to Medical/Surgical patients.
Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
Deliver safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care while adhering to hospital policies and standards.

Minimum 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical RN experience.
Level I Trauma or mid-to-large hospital experience required.
Prior travel nursing experience required.
Ability to manage a 5–6:1 patient ratio.
Positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and strong time management.
No RTO (Requested Time Off) accepted for this assignment.
Required Certification

Active Registered Nurse (RN) License
BLS (AHA) – Required
ACLS – Preferred
