QPCS is hiring an experienced Correctional Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for SCI Laurel Highlands in Somerset, Pennsylvania.

Position Details

Location: SCI Laurel Highlands, 5706 Glades Pike, Somerset, PA 15501
Level: Expert
Schedule: Eight-hour float shifts

The CNA may work up to two different shifts during each two-week period, receives every other weekend off, and must be available for major holidays.

Pay Options

Tier 1 – Benefits-Eligible W-2: $25.00 per hour

Tier 2 – Non-Benefits-Eligible W-2: $29.00 per hour

1099 Independent Contractor: $32.00 per hour

Important 1099 Notice: Independent contractors are self-employed and are not eligible for employee benefits, paid time off, unemployment insurance, workers’ compensation coverage, or employer-paid payroll taxes. Independent contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and other applicable obligations.

Role and Requirements

Provide direct patient care, assist with daily living activities, obtain vital signs, observe changes, and maintain accurate documentation while following nursing and correctional-security standards.

Candidates must have:

Current Pennsylvania CNA certification and active registry status.

At least one year of correctional, psychiatric, behavioral-health, or similarly complex direct-care experience.

Dependability and flexibility to work assigned shifts, weekends, and holidays while completing required screening, credentialing, and security training.
