Hospice RN Details:

Shift: DAYS- 830AM-5PM
Schedule: Monday- Friday
Pay Rate: Based upon experience.
Pay Scale: $90,000-$127,058.57.

Hospice RN Duties:

Assess, planand implement a treatment plan to keep terminally ill patients comfortable.
Provides nursing care, emotional support and education to patients and families
Assist with wound care, treatments, procedures, and comfort care.
Monitoring vital signs, administering medications and supporting patients and their families
Coordinates patient care and communicates and collaborates extensively with the other members of the Interdisciplinary team, patients and/or patient’s family or significant other(s)
Demonstrates death pronouncement with correct documentation, care of the body, support of the family and disposal of medication. Assists in relaying information to a previously identified funeral home, local EMT and/or Police. If needed.
Performs on-call responsibilities and on-call services to patients/families as assigned.

Hospice RN Requirements:

NJ RN License or Compact RN License
BLS Certification
Minimum of 3 Years Hospice RN Experience
BSN Preferred
EPIC Experience Preferred
