+ Must document and maintain current, unencumbered Michigan licensure as a registered nurse (RN)
+ Experience in Obstetrics is required. Examples: Labor and Delivery background and/or caring for Childbearing mothers as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or a comparable position.
+ Must hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in nursing science (BSN) or be an individual who is actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) is qualified to teach in the Registered Nurse program. Courses not entitled “NUR” may be facilitated by a qualified degree in the subject taught. Documented enrollment in BSN program required. ‘Exception” paperwork must be submitted with the Michigan Board of Nursing (MBON) prior to instructor teaching.
+ One year of documented experience related to the course taught, preferred.
