We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and skilled Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP, FNP, or AGNP) with a strong background in psychiatric care, addiction medicine, or behavioral health to provide clinical care and nursing leadership for our 16-bed medical detoxification and short-term residential treatment center.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive history and physical evaluations (H&Ps), daily clinical rounding, managing medication-assisted withdrawal protocols, and directly overseeing the nursing staff to ensure exceptional client care, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Conduct regular clinical rounds on clients in both the medical detox and short-term residential tracks to assess withdrawal progression, mental status, and general medical stability.
Develop, initiate, and adjust evidence-based withdrawal management protocols (e.g., CIWA, COWS) and psychiatric medication regimens under appropriate collaborative agreements or physician oversight.
Evaluate and manage co-occurring psychiatric conditions, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, and mood disorders, collaborating with the residential clinical therapy team.
Order, interpret, and review laboratory work, toxicology screenings, and diagnostic tests.
Formulate multidisciplinary discharge and step-down medication transition plans.
Nursing Leadership & Clinical Supervision
Provide direct clinical guidance, mentorship, and supervision to the registered nurses (RNs), licensed practical nurses (LPNs), and medical support staff.
Oversee shift handover reports, nursing documentation standards, and medication administration records (eMAR).
Ensure nursing protocols adhere to state licensing boards, DEA guidelines, CARF/Joint Commission standards, and facility medical bylaws.
Assist in clinical staff education, training on withdrawal scales, overdose prevention, emergency response, and trauma-informed behavioral interventions.
