Adelphi is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide services at a facility in Orange County, California. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks such as; preparing inmate patients for examinations by recording vital signs, filing and organizing patient health records, among other related duties.

Requirements:
• Current and valid Medical Assistant Certification

Responsibilities:
• Provide assistance in all direct delivery of patient care.
• Perform and assist with examinations and procedures as directed by supervisor.
• Prepare and review health records prior to medical exams.
• Prepare inmate patients for examination by taking vital signs, height/weight measurements, pregnancy screening and other data collection as needed.
• Assist with intake and screening of new jail bookings.
• Cleaning and stocking treatment areas.
• Report patient's relevant medical information to nursing and medical staff efficiently.
• Maintain treatment area and medical files accordingly.
• Maintain effective and collaborative working relationships with other facility staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
