REQUIREMENTS:

* 3+ years of experience
* Minimum of an Associate's Degree (ADN) from an accredited nursing program, BSN preferred.
* One year experience is required.
* Must maintain current, active license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado.
* Must maintain current BLS.
* ACLS and PALS preferred

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Directly provides acute care and swing bed patient care as a team member at the highest standards of evidence-based practice;
* Evaluating health status through the collection and assessment of health data;
* Provide health teaching and health counseling;
* Provide therapy and treatment that is supportive and restorative to life and well- being either directly to the patient or indirectly through consultation with, delegation to, supervision of, or teaching of others;
* Execute delegated medical functions;
* Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans;
* Correctly, accurately, and timely documentation in the medical record all assessment, interventions, teaching, and care coordination efforts of patient care.
* Collaborates with ancillary departments and physician providers to address the medical, social, and spiritual needs of the patient in a culturally and age appropriate manner.
