Registered Nurse – Intensive Care - ICU - Travel - (ICU RN)

Travel RN-Intensive Care Unit – Cardiothoracic jobs in Chapel Hill, NC, place you in a high-acuity environment caring for patients recovering from complex heart and lung surgeries at the facility. You will monitor and manage critically ill patients, operate advanced life support equipment, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Required qualifications include an active RN license in North Carolina or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) eligibility, at least one year of recent cardiothoracic or intensive care experience, and certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and strong assessment and critical thinking skills are essential. Recommended skills include proficiency in ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and the ability to respond quickly to changes in patient condition.
