ABOUT THE FACILITY
This hospital-based cancer center provides specialized hematology and oncology services with established protocols for comprehensive cancer and blood disorder treatment delivery. The facility maintains coordinated care between inpatient and outpatient settings with modern equipment and treatment capabilities. Hospital privileges are required with a 60-day credentialing timeframe for this position.

ABOUT THE CLINICIAN'S WORKDAY
The physician associate will provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM managing 12-16 patients daily in the clinic setting with occasional infusion center coverage. Every 8th week, responsibilities include full inpatient coverage with 24-hour call from Friday 4:30 PM to the following Friday 4:30 PM involving daily rounds and call coverage. Clinical duties require documentation through Varian EMR system in the clinic and Cerner EMR system in the hospital. Board certification and previous oncology experience are mandatory requirements for this position.
