Registered Nurse – Progressive Care - Travel - (PCU RN)

Travel RN PCU Oncology Unit job at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA: Sentara Norfolk General Hospital’s Oncology Unit cares for a diverse general med-surg population, including oncology, hospice, congestive heart failure (CHF), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia (PNA), and alcohol-related diagnoses. You will work with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3-5 and utilize advanced technologies such as BIPAP, nurse-driven diuretic protocols, peritoneal dialysis, and IV Glucommander. You must have a minimum of 2 years of intermediate care (IMC) or progressive care unit (PCU) experience within the last 3 years. Oncology experience is not required, but you should be confident and aware of the oncology setting before applying. Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is recommended.
