Responsibilities:
• Collect data about patients through interview, case history, psychological tests, and/or observational techniques.
• Evaluate data to identify causes of problems and determine proper therapeutic approaches or referral to other specialists.
• Provide counseling, therapy, and/or psychotherapy to patients as appropriate to the position.
• Follow up to determine reliability of treatment used and change methods and degree of therapy when indicated.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant case documentation and records.
• Provide therapeutic crisis intervention and emergency services as required.
• Evaluate data to identify causes of problems and determine proper therapeutic approaches or referral to other specialists.
• Prepare reports and correspondence on evaluation status and case recommendations as needed.
• Consult with other practitioners and related staff, as appropriate in the performance of therapeutic duties and/or casework.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
