Flexible Shifts Available for Pediatric ER RNs

Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department/Emergency Room (ED/ER) – Pediatrics in Minneapolis, MN. We’re seeking a compassionate, skilled, and quick-thinking RN to provide safe and efficient emergency care to infants, children, and adolescents. Responsibilities include triage and rapid assessment, monitoring vital signs and changes in condition, administering medications and treatments, initiating IV therapy, assisting with emergency procedures and stabilization, responding to critical situations, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team. The RN will also provide education, reassurance, and emotional support to pediatric patients and their families.

Setting/Facility Type: Hospital-based Pediatric Emergency Department (ED/ER) providing urgent and emergency care for pediatric patients with acute illnesses, injuries, trauma, and other medical emergencies.

Current, active Minnesota RN license or compact RN license
Previous Pediatric Emergency/ED experience preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required
ACLS certification preferred, depending on facility requirements
Strong pediatric assessment, triage, and critical-thinking skills
Experience with IV therapy, medication administration, and emergency procedures
Ability to respond quickly and effectively to changes in patient condition
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to care for infants, children, and adolescents with a wide range of emergency conditions
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Flexible availability for day/night shifts, weekends, and holidays
