Role: Nurse Manager - Behavioral Health
Location: Onsite in Brooklyn, NY
Positions : 2 open roles
Shift: 8 AM – 4 PM, Monday to Friday
Start Date: ASAP

Must Have: Experience managing a psych unit in a hospital.
 
Job Summary:
Oversee operations and management of the unit in collaboration with the Director.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory codes.
Coordinate performance improvement activities and prepare required reports.
Monitor admissions/discharges and ensure appropriate clinical management.
Provide operational leadership on a 24-hour basis.
Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and quality improvement standards.
Participate in continuing education and implement best practices in care.

Required Skills & Experience:
Must Have: Experience managing a psych unit in a hospital.
Minimum 5 years as a Registered Nurse.
Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in psychiatry.
Minimum 2 years in a leadership role.
Graduate of accredited Nursing school (BSN required, master’s preferred).
Licensed and registered as a Professional Nurse in New York State.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, Crisis Management (PMCS, TRUST).
Strong leadership, administrative, and communication skills.
