Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an ASAP-start contract night-shift opportunity at Parkersburg Care Center in Parkersburg, West Virginia.

The LPN will provide direct resident care, administer medications and treatments, monitor resident conditions, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to residents.
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
Monitor residents and report changes in condition.
Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation.
Communicate changes in resident condition to the healthcare team.
Follow facility policies, procedures, and applicable nursing standards.
Maintain resident safety, dignity, and quality of care.

Requirements
Active West Virginia LPN license.
Current BLS certification.
LTC/SNF experience preferred.
Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work the assigned 12-hour night shift.
Reliable transportation as applicable.
Must be available for the required schedule.
Important Assignment Details

🔹 ASAP START
🔹 LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY
🔹 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM night shift
🔹 36 guaranteed hours/week
🔹 Three days one week and four days the next
🔹 Every other weekend is required
🔹 $1,000 completion bonus for the 8-week contract
🔹 No more than 2 call-outs allowed during the contract
🔹 Any NCNS (No Call/No Show) will void the completion bonus
🔹 Completion bonus is subject to meeting all facility attendance and contract-completion requirements.
