JOB REQUIREMENTS

* Board: Active certification through AANP/ANCC

* Licenses: Active TN RN License, TN NP License, TN DEA with Prescriptive Authority

* DEA / CDS: Active DEA and CDS required

* Certifications: ACLS, PALS

* Experience: 2 years of recent experience preferred; new grads considered

* Other Qualifications: Case logs for past 2 years, Preeclampsia-Eclampsia CME, MMR/Varicella immunity documentation, TB test

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting to the ED during night shifts.

* Manage a high volume of patient encounters (approximately 93 per day total department).

* Collaborate with supervising physicians and other advanced practice providers.

* Perform patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.

* Maintain accurate documentation and comply with facility policies.
