DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Set up equipment and instruments required for the surgical procedure taking place.
* Sterilize inventory equipment to ensure stock of supplies for surgical procedures.
* Assist in preparing the patient for surgery.
* Pass the surgeon instruments and sterile supplies during the operation.
* Recount surgical supplies and instruments at the end of the operation.
* Maintain an overall sterile environment during the operation.
* Other duties as assigned.
