To qualify, you need a current California surgical technologist certification, graduation from an accredited surgical technology program, and at least 1 year of recent operating room experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Recommended skills include strong attention to detail, adaptability, and effective communication with the surgical team. The facility is an acute care hospital, fully accredited by the Joint Commission, and is the only Level II trauma center in Eastern Ventura County.
