Job Description
What you will be doing: RN - Medical Surgical
• Assess, identify appropriate nursing diagnoses, plan, implement and evaluate patients' care.
• Develop, update and coordinate the patient's plan of care to optimize outcomes.
• Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care, promoting the autonomy, dignity, rights, values and beliefs of those we serve.
• Foster a learning environment for patient/families, nursing, other members of the healthcare team, and community.
• Ensure safety and quality, identifying and correcting problems and integrating evidence and best practice into nursing care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development.
• Lead and coordinate teams, delegate appropriately, coordinate care and collaborate with others.
• Model professional behaviors as a representative of the nursing profession.
Experience you will need: RN - Medical Surgical
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Provider NRP certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics upon hire.
• At least one year of nursing experience.
• National Certification in area of specialty upon hire is preferred.
