Adelphi is seeking for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide services for a contract opportunity with a correctional facility in Pensacola, Florida. The LCSW will provide counselling, therapy/psychotherapy to patients as required.

Requirements:
• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work
• Must have at least Registered Intern status in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family therapy and must obtain license status within three years of hire

Responsibilities:
• Collect data about patients through interviews, case history, psychological tests, and/or observational techniques.
• Evaluate data to identify causes of problems and determine proper therapeutic approaches or referrals to other specialists.
• Provide counseling, therapy, and/or psychotherapy to patients as appropriate to the position.
• Prepare treatment and follow-up programs.
• Provide therapeutic crisis intervention and emergency services as required.
• Responsible for complete and accurate documentation of care provided in the inmate's health record.
• Maintain health services records logs and assist with data entry within the scope of mental health-related items.
• Consult with other practitioners and related staff, as appropriate in the performance of therapeutic duties and/or casework.
• Follow up to determine the reliability of treatment used and changes in methods and degree of therapy when indicated.
• Participate in the review of clinical issues and program policies and procedures.
• Facilitate and participate in inmate educational health programs.
• Participate in continuing education and in-service training to maintain professional capabilities and proficiency.
• Answer calls during on-call rotation and may be required to work nights/weekends.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
