SSSU/PACU RN – Clarkston, WA | $2,900 Weekly Blended Pay

Staffing Medical USA is seeking an experienced SSSU/PACU Registered Nurse to start ASAP in Clarkston, WA. This position is ideal for an RN with strong experience across pre-op, post-op, PACU, Phase II recovery, Endoscopy, and Infusion.

The RN will provide perioperative nursing care throughout the outpatient services area, including Day Surgery, Endoscopy, PACU, and the Pre-operative Clinic, while also supporting hospital needs for conscious sedation procedures.

Position Details:

Location: Clarkston, WA
Weekly Blended Pay: $2,900
Taxable Rate: $40/hour
OT/Holiday: $74/hour
Weekly Non-Taxable: $1,300
Start: ASAP
Schedule: 4 × 10-hour shifts
Schedule: Variable
Call: Shared on-call rotation
Local candidates: Must live 50+ miles from the facility

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of SSSU/PACU/PRE/POST experience
Strong skills in Pre-op, Post-op, PACU, Phase II, Endoscopy, and Infusion
Charge Nurse experience preferred
Strong assessment and post-anesthesia recovery skills
Ability to recognize and manage post-anesthesia and post-operative complications
Experience providing perioperative education and patient care

Clinical Responsibilities:
The RN will float throughout the Outpatient Services area and provide nursing care for surgical and procedural patients from pre-operative preparation through recovery and discharge, including assessment, education, monitoring, and recognition of potential complications.

Active RN license eligible to practice in Washington
Minimum 2 years of recent SSSU/PACU/PRE/POST experience
Strong experience in:
Pre-Op
Post-Op
PACU
Phase II recovery
Endoscopy
Infusion
Strong nursing assessment skills
Ability to recognize and manage post-anesthesia and post-operative complications
Experience with perioperative patient education and care
Willingness to float throughout Outpatient Services, including Day Surgery, Endoscopy, PACU, and Pre-Op
Willingness to work 4 × 10-hour shifts with a variable schedule
Willingness to participate in a shared on-call rotation
Must be willing and able to start ASAP
Must live more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred:

Charge Nurse experience

The biggest screening requirement is the 2+ years of SSSU/PACU/PRE/POST experience plus strong skills in all six areas: Pre, Post, PACU, Phase II, Endoscopy, and Infusion.
