Key Responsibilities
Conduct health assessments and document findings accurately.
Provide direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living as needed.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
Respond to clinical issues and emergencies in the correctional setting.
Maintain patient safety, dignity, and confidentiality.
Follow facility policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements
Valid nursing license for the state of employment.
Experience in correctional health, long‑term care, or acute care preferred.
Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work independently and adapt to unique clinical environments.
Must be able to meet physical demands of the role and facility requirements.
