We are seeking a compassionate and dependable CNA for a 13-week Long Term Care Dementia Unit assignment in Newark, New York. This position involves caring for residents with Alzheimer’s and dementia on a neurobehavioral unit with unpredictable aggressive behaviors.

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend

Requirements

Minimum 1 year CNA experience
BLS Certification required
First-time travelers accepted
Must live more than 75 miles from facility
Experience with LTC and dementia care preferred

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities
Provide bathing, feeding, grooming, repositioning, and incontinence care
Monitor and report changes in patient condition
Assist with transfers, ambulation, and mobility support
Maintain infection control and PPE protocols
Support residents with behavioral and cognitive challenges compassionately and professionally
Compensation

Travelers/Stipend (W2)

Blended Rate: $31/hour
Weekly Gross Pay: $1,240
Taxable Rate: $12/hour
Weekly Taxable Pay: $480
Weekly Non-Taxable Stipend: $760
Travelers (1099)

Hourly Rate: $34/hour
Weekly Pay: $1,360
