As a successful candidate, you'll be a graduate from a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program and possess a license to practice in Iowa. With over a year of experience working with similar patient populations, you'll be comfortable performing assessments and treatments with minimal supervision. Qualifications
Graduate of a Physical Therapist education program approved by The Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE), a successor organization of CAPTE, or an education program outside the United States determined to be substantially equivalent to physical therapist entry-level education in the United States by a credentials evaluation organization approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
Passed an examination for Physical Therapists approved by the state in which physical therapy services are provided.
Licensed as a PT by the state in which practicing, unless licensure does not apply within state regulation
One year experience caring for similar patient population as to be assigned.
Basic knowledge of current, frequently used medications, including modes of administration, actions and side effects.
Able to perform physical therapy assessment and treatment in the home setting without direct supervision.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as a collaborative team member.
Ability to understand and apply guidelines, policies and procedures.
Ability to navigate and perform basic use of Microsoft Office products.
Maintains a reliable mode of transportation and has the ability to drive safely during all day and night hours and in all types of inclement weather.
