REQUIREMENTS:

* Active RN license
* Graduate of accredited nursing program
* BLS required; ACLS preferred
* Previous perioperative, PAT, or ambulatory surgery experience preferred
* Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
* Ability to work in fast-paced surgical environment

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Provide pre- and post-operative care in SDC, PAT, and ambulatory surgery
* Conduct pre-admission testing and surgical readiness assessments
* Prepare patients for procedures and ensure proper documentation
* Monitor recovery, airway, and post-anesthesia status
* Administer medications and IV therapy as ordered
* Identify risks and ensure pre-op clearances are completed
* Educate patients on pre/post-procedure instructions
* Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and care team
* Document care and patient response in the EMR
