Med-Surg Oncology RN

"A Med-Surg Oncology RN opportunity is available in Fort Walton Beach, FL at a 267-bed hospital offering an Advanced Primary Stroke Center and a Cancer Care Center, with services spanning open-heart surgery and a wide range of specialties.

The role. Working as part of an interdisciplinary team, the Med-Surg Oncology RN collects comprehensive patient data and analyzes assessment findings to establish diagnoses and identify individualized, outcome-focused care plans. The nurse serves as a dedicated advocate for patient safety and wellbeing throughout the care continuum, ensuring effective use of time, supplies, and equipment. A meaningful part of this role involves educating patients and their families about medications, procedures, and treatments, providing consistent support across the hospital stay.

What we're looking for.

• 1 year of RN experience required (Does not need to be in acute care — LTAC, SNF, and similar settings accepted)
• Associate Degree
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Admin must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date

Schedule. Nights with rotating weekends.

Compensation. $27.72 - $39.60/hr plus $10,000 sign-on bonus"
