Matrix Providers is hiring a Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical to join our team of talented professionals providing healthcare services to Military Service Members and their families at Jacksonville Naval Hospital, Florida.

Compensation: This is an hourly position, paid bi-weekly
$39.73-$41.82 ; H&W $5.09
Schedule:
7 days per week. 80 hours of service per two-week period including weekends. Services shall be required for a period of 12.5 hours with an uncompensated 30-minute meal break and 8.5-hour shifts. Schedule is managed by the department and subject to change due to department needs and patient care.
Shift hours are generally from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm and 7:30 pm to 07:30 am.
Current schedule:
Week 1 = 48 hours, 4 (12) hour shifts, Overtime is paid for hours over 40. Work Saturday.
Week 2 = 32 hours, 2 (12) hour shifts + 1 (8) hour shift. Work Sunday and Saturday off.
Every 2 weeks, 80 hours.

Requirements:
Education: Possess a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing, a Graduate Diploma in Nursing, or an Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited agency such as the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
Certifications must be through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Experience: Possess a minimum of six (6) months experience in the preceding twenty- four (24) months working in an adult and pediatric medical/surgical setting.
Licensure: Possess and maintain a current unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse in any one (1) of the 50 States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Provide two (2) letters of recommendation from practicing physicians or peers attesting to the HCW’s clinical skills. Reference letters must include name, title, phone number, date of reference, address and signature of the individual providing reference. Letters of reference must have been written within the preceding two (2) years.
