About the Role
Work in a 64-bed Emergency Department: triage, acute, super track, trauma, CDU, psych
Care for trauma, stroke, MI, sepsis, respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, pediatrics, and geriatrics
Utilize Epic EMR; Navy blue scrubs

Key Responsibilities
Assess, triage, and monitor patients with emergent conditions
Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency interventions
Provide stabilization and resuscitation during life-threatening events
Collaborate with ED physicians, APPs, and multidisciplinary teams
Document care in Epic EMR
Educate patients and families; float to related ED units
Supervise/support LPNs and nursing assistants
Charge nurse leadership preferred

Requirements:
Active NY RN license (all active licenses verified via Nursys)
2+ years recent ED experience, including pediatric exposure
Travel nursing experience preferred
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS
Epic EMR experience required
Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
