Urgent Care Adventure: Night Shifts in Scenic Renton!

ER RN needed for a travel assignment in Renton, WA, working evening/night shifts in a busy 55-bed Emergency Department with 4 trauma bays and approximately 250 patients per day. The RN will provide care for a diverse, high-acuity patient population including STEMI, stroke, DKA, sepsis, trauma, respiratory conditions, and behavioral health cases. The ED uses EPIC and operates across four zones with dedicated resource nurses, MST/ED techs, charge nurses, patient flow coordinators, triage/protocol nurses, physicians, and mid-level providers. Nurses manage their own ER holds, perform ECGs and ABGs, and transport critical patients as needed. The department also includes Accelerated Care (fast track), critical care areas, psych/seclusion rooms, 24/7 monitor tech coverage, and in-house security.

No local candidates — traveler must live 50+ miles from the facility. Must have prior travel experience; no first-time travelers. Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS & ENPC — both PALS and ENPC are required. Must be comfortable with a diverse patient population and culturally competent care. Must be able to manage ER holds, transport critical patients, perform ECGs, and work with vents, CPAP, BiPAP and high-flow equipment.
