Job Description

Canyon Transitional Rehabilitation Center is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract night-shift opportunity in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The RN will provide direct nursing care to residents, administer medications and treatments, assess patient conditions, complete clinical documentation, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to residents.
Perform nursing assessments and monitor changes in resident conditions.
Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
Implement nursing interventions and evaluate patient responses.
Communicate changes in condition to physicians and other members of the healthcare team.
Maintain accurate nursing documentation.
Collaborate with LPNs, CNAs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Follow facility policies, procedures, and applicable nursing standards.
Promote resident safety, dignity, and quality care.

Requirements
Active RN license eligible to practice in New Mexico.
Current BLS certification.
Long-term care/skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred.
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
Ability to work a 12-hour night shift.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
