REQUIREMENTS:

* THIS ASSIGNMENT REQUIRES A HIGHLY SKILLED & EXPERIENCED SURG TECH WITH A WIDE LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE WITH ORTHO, NEURO, VASCULAR, ETC. CANDIDATES THAT LACK A FULL BREADTH OF CURRENT EXPERIENCE WILL NOT RECEIVE CONSIDERATION.
* Candidates with minimal RTO will receive priority consideration.
* Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited surgical technology program.
* BLS required.
* CST preferred but not required.
* Excellent critical thinking and knowledge of central processing and instrumentation required.
* 3+ years of experience

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* ST will work 36-40 hours/week (three 12-hr shift or four 10-hr shifts or five 8-hr shifts; start and end times are negotiable).
* Call requirement includes approximately every 5th weekend as a call weekend (split between Call 1 and Call 2) and 1-2 Calls per week (split between call 1 and call 2).
* Based upon department need and potential changes in staffing, the call volume could increase.
* The call requirements will mirror what the current staffing takes week to week.
* All call requires a 30-minute response time from the time of the call to arriving on site.
* Possible Holiday call rotation may be required if a holiday falls within the ST’s contract; rotation based on current patient census and staffing.
