Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking experienced Correctional Registered Nurses (RNs) for an exciting opportunity working in a detention center environment. We currently have 3 openings available for a 13-week contract starting October 17, 2026.

Position Overview As a Correctional RN, you will provide both routine and emergency medical care to detainees while collaborating with healthcare professionals, correctional staff, and facility administrators to ensure quality patient care.

-Orientation Provided Onsite
-Professional Scrubs Required

What You'll Do:
• Assess and monitor detainee health conditions
• Administer medications and treatments
• Respond to medical emergencies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate patient documentation

-Active RN License in the state of practice
-Prior Corrections, Detention Center, or Jail Nursing Experience Preferred
-Current CPR Certification
-Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
