RN County Detention Center | Raleigh, NC

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking experienced Correctional Registered Nurses (RNs) for an exciting opportunity working in a detention center environment. We currently have 3 openings available for a 13-week contract starting October 17, 2026.

🩺 Position Overview As a Correctional RN, you will provide both routine and emergency medical care to detainees while collaborating with healthcare professionals, correctional staff, and facility administrators to ensure quality patient care.

What You'll Do:
• Assess and monitor detainee health conditions
• Administer medications and treatments
• Respond to medical emergencies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate patient documentation

✔ Active RN License in the state of practice
✔ Prior Corrections, Detention Center, or Jail Nursing Experience Preferred
✔ Current CPR Certification
✔ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
✔ TB Screening (PPD, Questionnaire, or Chest X-Ray if applicable)
✔ Must be at least 18 years old
